NSU Grant Writer Publishes Article on Creating a Grant Writing Lab
Roxana Ross, M.B.A., GPC, Nova Southeastern University’s grant writing manager, recently published an article on creating a grant writing laboratory in the Fall 2011 issue of the Journal of the Grant Professionals Association. Ross, who is also the director of operations at NSU’s Office of Research and Technology Transfer, argues that “the future of grant seeking in many organizations requires that grant professionals find ways to help their organizations’ members create successful proposals by offering training and support services that have true impact”. In order to boost funding, she states that a combination of technology, training, and proposal development resources are required. NSU’s Grant Writing Laboratory, which Ross created, met this challenge by facilitating grant training, collaborating, funding searches, and helping with grant planning, budgeting, project planning, proposal development, and proposal formatting and packaging. The lab is free for NSU employees. For more information, please contact Ross at 954-262-4658 or grantlab@nova.edu
