NSU Genomics Core Facility Call for Proposals: 2018 Illumina RNA-Seq Pilot Grant Program: Deadline Oct. 31
NSU’s Translational Research and Economic Development Genomics Core Facility is soliciting proposals for pilot projects utilizing the Illumina NextSeq 500 platform for RNA-Seq applications. The primary goal of this pilot grant program is to offer NSU faculty and graduate students (with PI support) a unique opportunity for gene expression research projects at minimal cost as a way to catalyze further next-generation sequencing studies at NSU. The proposed research must have relevance to basic, translational, and/or clinical science. This opportunity is made available through a generous donation of sample preparation kits and sequencing consumables from Illumina. The Genomics Core Facility will provide the labor requested for the sample preparation and sequencing free of charge. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Two awardees will be announced on or around Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Visit the Genomics Core Facility website to apply. Please refer to the 2018 Illumina RNA-Seq Pilot Grant Program for full details.
