NSU Faculty Honored for Receiving External Funding
Frank De Piano, Ph.D., Provost, Executive Vice President Academic Affairs presents Cecilia Rokusek, Ed.D., R.D., Assistant Dean for Education, Planning, and Research Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health, College of Osteopathic Medicine, with an External Funding Recognition plaque.
NSU faculty were honored on Oct. 23 at the NSU External Funding Recognition ceremony, which recognizes the efforts of NSU faculty members who received external grant funding in the previous fiscal year. During Fiscal Year 2012, NSU accomplished substantial progress in the area of external funding, with the total external funding exceeding $82 million. By recognizing the extraordinary efforts of faculty members who contributed to this milestone, NSU endeavors to encourages the continued pursuit of external funding.
The event took place at the Grande Oaks Golf Club and was hosted by NSU Provost Frank DePiano, Ph.D., and Gary S. Margules, Ph.D., vice president for research and technology transfer.
