NSU Employees Earn Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
The Hudson Center at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship partnered with NSU’s Office of Human Resources to offer a half price Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification class open only to NSU employees on December 18-19, 2012. The response was amazing and the class was filled to capacity with 30 people.
Yellow Belt is the first of the Lean Six Sigma Certifications offered by the Hudson Center. It teaches participants the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and how to apply it in his or her role and workplace on a day-to-day basis. Participants worked on a case study in groups of six people and presented their work at the end of the program to demonstrate their new skills.
