NSU Dean of Dental Medicine Joins Vigilant Biosciences, Inc. Board of Directors
Vigilant Biosciences, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of solutions that aid in the early detection and intervention of cancer, recently announced the addition of Linda Niessen, D.M.D., M.P.H., M.P.P., dean, NSU’s College of Dental Medicine, to its Board of Directors. The addition of Dr. Niessen brings the number of board members to four.
Niessen has enjoyed a distinguished career within the professional dental community, currently serving as dean and professor at NSU’s College of Dental Medicine. She previously served as a professor at Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University in Dallas from 1991 to 2013. In addition to her academic career, Niessen has held executive positions at DENTSPLY International, a leading manufacturer and distributor of dental and other consumable medical device products, including most recently as vice president, chief clinical officer and prior as DENTSPLY’s vice president, clinical education.
