NSU conducts Screenings and provides Medication Counseling at Annual Hendry/Glades Community Health Fair
Health Professions Division students at NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie and Palm Beach campuses recently collaborated to perform bone density health screenings and provide medication counseling under the supervision of licensed health care providers at the Annual Hendry/Glades Community Health Fair at Hendry Regional Medical Center.
Volunteers included members of NSU College of Pharmacy’s (COP) Phi Delta Chi, Beta Lambda chapter and Alpha Zeta Omega, Psi chapter, along with COP faculty members: Genevieve Hale, Pharm.D., BCPS; Tina Joseph, Pharm.D., BCACP; Noor Daghistani Pharm.D.; and Lazara Cabrera Ricabal, Pharm.D.
This was a great opportunity for the pharmacy students to practice the skills they have learned with their faculty. Phi Delta Chi and Alpha Zeta Omega are proud to work together and represent NSU College of Pharmacy at this annual event and provide counseling and screenings to the community.
