NSU College of Pharmacy Creates Wall to Honor Alumni

Nova Southeastern University acknowledges the outstanding achievements of its university-wide alumni through the Celebration of Excellence (COE) Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the highest award that an individual can receive from the NSU Alumni Association. To date, twelve NSU College of Pharmacy (COP) alumni have been honored for the leadership and role model qualities they continue to display in their profession and their community.
To further recognize these outstanding COP alumni, the college has established a “Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor” which will feature the photo, graduation and CEO award year of each current and future pharmacy Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awardees. The “Wall of Honor” was unveiled at a ceremony and reception held in the Health Professions Division on Oct. 2. The current honorees were present to receive the thanks and accolades of COP Dean, Andrés Malavé, Ph.D., and several VIP guests, including HPD Chancellor, Fred Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D; NSU Board of Trustee Member Dr. Silvia Flores, M.D.; and Paul Sallarulo, NSU Board of Trustee member and President of the NSU Alumni Association. The ceremonies highlighted the Honorees’ numerous contributions to help advance the university, the college, and the pharmacy professions. Here is a list of the honorees:
