NSU College of Pharmacy Welcomes the 2013 – 2014 Dean’s Ambassadors
New members were recently named to NSU’s College of Pharmacy Dean’s Ambassador Program. The Dean’s Ambassador Program serves to further engage student pharmacists in representing the College and University amongst alumni, preceptors, students, constituents, affiliated organizations, their respective professional communities, and the public in general. Specifically, the program focuses on further developing students’ professionalism through leadership, networking, presentation and teamwork, as well as business protocol to better prepare them in applying these skills as future alumni.
Ambassadors are closely mentored by the Dean of the College along with its leadership to ensure that as future role models and leaders in healthcare they continue to provide the support and involvement crucial to execute the mission of the College and the University. Second year pharmacy students are eligible to apply to the Ambassador Program. They are selected based on their academic standing, their demonstrated sense of Shark Pride, and their commitment to excellence.
