NSU College of Pharmacy is Shark Proud!

The depth and span of an NSU College of Pharmacy education cannot be covered by tuition alone. It requires the generosity of NSU graduates, friends and also our employees. With support, we can enhance existing programs and pursue new opportunities to focus our resources on issues facing our world. We can maintain our commitment to the use of the latest technology, improve our ability to attract and retain the finest faculty, and expand opportunities for deserving students through scholarships and fellowships.

Acknowledging how our employees play a critical role in providing the support and involvement crucial to help the College of Pharmacy develop graduates for roles as future leaders in global health care, Lisa M. Deziel, Pharm.D., Ph.D., dean, hosted an informal Ice Cream Thank You Social for all COP employees who donated during the July 2014-15 fundraising campaign.

Dean Deziel emphasized the importance and benefit from knowing how we can all make a difference in the life of a NSU COP student. Student members of the Dean’s Ambassador Program were also present to express their gratitude personally to the employee donors.  The money raised through the annual campaigns will continue to play an important role in the quality of education the College of Pharmacy provides its students.
