NSU College of Pharmacy Faculty Member Receives Credentialing as a Certified Diabetes Educator

Devada Singh-Franco, R.Ph., Pharm.D

The College of Pharmacy is proud to congratulate Devada Singh-Franco, R.Ph., Pharm.D., associate professor, pharmacy practice, for earning accreditation as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. This is a significant accomplishment amongst health care professionals that work with patients with diabetes. In order to become certified, there is a challenging, multi-disciplinary examination and an extensive practice requirement. In addition to her College of Pharmacy responsibilities, Singh-Franco treats patients at Broward Health Medical Center. She is well-published in the field of diabetes and is highly-regarded by students and faculty alike.
