NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine student Elected to Lead National Student Group
Third-year NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine student Kelly Thibert was named president elect of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) for the 2015-16 year. The honor makes her part of an elite group of students that focuses on health care policy and the financial assets of the organization.
Thibert will travel the country to represent the nation’s medical students on topics such as medical student debt and pharmaceutical influence in medical education. AMSA is a student-governed national organization committed to representing the concerns of medical students, premedical students, interns, residents and practicing physicians
