NSU Circle of Friends Usher in 2016-17 Board at Annual Gala and Fundraising Event
NEW COF Board members: Janet Speth, Maggie Rogers, Chuck Malkus, Karla Avecillas and Greg McDermott
There was a British invasion in the library atrium on Saturday, May 14 as The Beatles Tribute band, Across the Universe, ushered in the NSU Alvin Sherman Library Circle of Friends (COF) 2016-17 Board of Directors. The Friends welcomed new board members, Janet Speth, Maggie Rogers, Chuck Malkus, Charles Morton, Karla Avecillas and Greg McDermott and a new executive board: Michael Greenberg, President, Lorraine Hoffman, Vice President, Peter Woolf, Treasurer and Ann Porterfield, Secretary. Larry Mauer becomes Immediate Past President. Guests danced up a storm and enjoyed an evening filled with good food and great music.
