NSU Business School Executive Appointed to the Florida Technology, Research, and Scholarship Board

Former Gov. Charlie Crist recently appointed a top NSU business school dean to the Florida Technology, Research and Scholarship Board.

J. Preston Jones, D.B.A., executive associate dean of academic affairs at NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, was appointed for a term beginning on Dec. 27 and ending June 30, 2014.  He will serve on the board with 11 other members.

The Florida Technology, Research and Scholarship Board was created in 2006 within the Board of Governors of the State University System to guide the establishment of Centers of Excellence and the attraction of world class scholars.

“I am deeply honored for the opportunity to serve and to join my esteemed colleagues on the Florida Technology, Research and Scholarship Board,” said Jones. “I am appreciative to Florida’s leadership for selecting me to represent my community, Florida’s institutions of higher learning, and the great state of Florida.”
