NSU Baseball Releases 2016 Schedule
The Nova Southeastern University baseball team has released its 2015 schedule and will open up at home on January 29 against Tusculum.
After taking on Tusculum on Friday night, the Sharks will host Newberry and Catawba on Saturday, January 30, and Sunday, January 31, respectively. Catawba was defeated by Tampa in the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship game.
The first road trip of the year will take place the following weekend when the NSU ball club will travel to Huntsville, Ala. to take on the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers in what likely be one of the biggest series’ of the year for both teams. The Chargers lingered near the top of the South Region poll in 2015 before being swept by West Alabama late in the year and losing two of three games in the Gulf South Conference Tournament. The four-game series will take place on February 5th and 6th, featuring a doubleheader each day.
