NSU Athletics Partners with Memorial Cancer Institute for Cancer Awareness Month
The Nova Southeastern University athletic department is partnering with Memorial Cancer Institute for Cancer Awareness Month in October.
During selected games, the Nova Southeastern University Athletic Department is extending free admission to any cancer survivors, warriors and families (up to four people) to be its guests at the upcoming Cancer Awareness Games during the month.
In an effort to celebrate survivors, support those going through treatments, and to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer, the Sharks have teamed up with Memorial Cancer Institute and Memorial Breast Care Services. The first 200 fans at each game will receive a Think Pink T-shirt, as well as educational collateral and information on cancer resources from Memorial. Additionally, special pink promos will be on hand, as well as raffled items.
The upcoming featured “Think Pink Cancer Awareness” games are:
Wednesday, Oct. 14 – NSU Men’s Soccer vs. Florida Tech at 7 p.m.
