NSU Athletics Near Top of Both Sides of Mayors’ Cup Standings
Nova Southeastern University Athletics ranks high on both sides of the Sunshine State Conference Mayors’ Cup standings boards, with the women coming in second and the men tied for third after the fall/winter seasons.
The Shark women’s teams place second with 33 points, only trailing leader Tampa’s 33.5. On the men’s side, the Sharks are tied with Florida Southern at 15.5 points, just behind Rollins, in second with 17.5. Saint Leo leads the way with 23 points.
Winners of the SSC Mayors’ Cup will be announced directly following the spring athletic season, in which baseball, softball, golf, tennis, lacrosse, and rowing will be scored.
