The Nova Southeastern University Athletics Department inducted five new members into its Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at its annual Hall of Fame banquet.
“The Hall Of Fame event is certainly an example of the tradition and pride that we continue to build here at NSU,” said NSU director of athletics Michael Mominey. “This is a special night for the inductees, the current members of the Athletic Hall of Fame, administration and faculty alike. We hope to build on the momentum of this event with hopes of engaging our alumni even more than they have been. We hope to have them assist us in carrying out the mission and vision of the University.”
Former softball player Heidi Wickham was inducted along with women’s soccer player Danielle DeGregorio, men’s soccer player Tom Gillette, and baseball players Felipe Suarez and Sean McFadden in the sixth NSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class.
