NSU athletic training students Lucy Rubio, Samuel Castillo, Zoe Greim, Anthony Bufi, Allyn Abadie were recognized at the 31st Annual Southeastern Athletic Trainers Association (SEATA) Athletic Training Student Symposium in Atlanta

Students from the NSU Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) recently attended the 31st Annual Southeastern Athletic Trainers Association (SEATA) Athletic Training Student Symposium in Atlanta. Nearly 1,000 athletic training students from across the country attended the symposium.

Five NSU ATEP students were recognized for their accomplishments during the symposium. Allyn Abadie, Anthony Bufi, and Samuel Castillo were selected for oral presentations on their clinical case studies, and Lucy Rubio was selected for a poster presentation on her clinical case study. These case studies were developed from the students’ experiences at their NSU clinical sites and submitted via written abstracts prior to the symposium. Zoe Greim received the SEATA Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship based on her academic, clinical, and service accomplishments as an NSU Athletic Training Student.
