NSU American Association of University Woman Branch Publishes ESTEAM Project

ESTEAM

In October, NSU American Association of University Woman branch member Rose Llanos attended the mentor conference at the University of New Mexico. There she presented the poster attached with the paper, “The E-STEAM (Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Project for Girls Mentoring Program.” This paper, authored by the members of NSU AAUW, was published in The Chronicle of Mentoring and Coaching.

The NSU AAUW has been collaborating with the Alvin Sherman Library and Broward’s PACE Center for Girls since 2008. Funding for this year was provided by a 2017-18 AAUW Community Action Grant. This is a prestigious and highly competitive award funding innovative programs that promote education and equality for women and girls.
