NSU Alvin Sherman Library Hosts Bestselling Author Brad Meltzer
New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer returned to the NSU Alvin Sherman Library once again on Saturday evening, June 11 for a book launch of his latest release, The House of Secrets, which was co-written with Tod Goldberg. Over 230 guests were in attendance to enjoy Meltzer’s thought provoking, engaging and entertaining presentation about history and destiny. After Meltzer’s talk, he answered numerous questions from the audience, followed by a sumptuous dessert reception, book sale and signing. The event was free and open to the public.
His newest thriller is about the murder of America’s favorite conspiracy TV show. His daughter then has to solve the crime — and quickly realizes that all the secret stories her father told her growing up were real. It’s full of secret history, including the coolest story ever about George Washington and Benedict Arnold. Brad is already working on his next thriller.
In addition to his #1 bestselling fiction, Brad is one of the only authors to ever have books on the bestseller list for Non-Fiction (History Decoded), Advice (Heroes for My Son and Heroes for My Daughter), Children’s Books (I Am Amelia Earhart and I Am Abraham Lincoln) and even comic books (Justice League of America), for which he won the prestigious Eisner Award.
He is also the host of Brad Meltzer’s Lost History on H2 and Brad Meltzer’s Decoded on the History Channel. The Hollywood Reporter recently put him on their list of Hollywood’s 25 Most Powerful Authors. He’s also the co-creator and producer of the TV show, Jack & Bobby.
