FCE Graduate Elected to the Anderson County School District Two Board of Trustees
Julia Barnes, Ed.D., graduate of NSU’s Abraham S. Fichler College of Education (FCE) was elected to serve on the Anderson County School District Two Board of Trustees (South Carolina).
Barnes retired from School District Two and continues to keep her teaching credential updated. As a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, community service is important to her, and she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Anderson County Museum Advisory Committee. Additionally, she is a student teacher supervisor-evaluator for Converse College and teaches in the online education program for NSU.
She earned a BA from Presbyterian College (1972), MA from Winthrop University (1973), and earned her doctorate of education with FCE in 1993.
