NSU Alumni Spotlight: Doctoral Alum inducted into Palo Alto Network’s Cybersecurity Canon

Jack Freund, Ph.D.

Jack Freund, Ph.D., a graduate of NSU’s College of Engineering and Computing (class of 2012), was recently inducted into Palo Alto Network’s Cybersecurity Canon for the book he coauthored, Measuring and Managing Information Risk: A FAIR Approach on cyber risk quantification.

The goal of the Cybersecurity Canon Project is to identify a list of must-read books for all cybersecurity practitioners. Jack is a Senior Manager of Cyber Risk and Controls for TIAA and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and daughter.
