NSU Alumni Spotlight: CAHSS Alum Named Clinical Director of The Bougainvilla House

Jenna Wilson, Ph.D., LMFT

Jenna Wilson, Ph.D., LMFT

Jenna Wilson, Ph.D., LMFT, graduate of the master’s and doctoral programs in the Department of Family Therapy in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was named the Clinical Director of The Bougainvilla House (TBH) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. TBH is an outpatient and intensive outpatient substance abuse therapy center for adolescents and young adults. They offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Wilson’s experience includes working with individuals, couples, teens, and families dealing with issues such as substance abuse, trauma, life transitions, bereavement and loss, school related challenges, relationships, and daily stressors.

“My training as a systems thinker in the family therapy program prepared me immensely for my professional career, Wilson said. “Conceptualizing clinical cases, supervising therapists, and teaching student therapists from a systemic lens has been invaluable in my leadership position.”
