NSU Alum Changkija Finishes in the Top-10 for the First Time in Pro Career
NSU alumna Sandra Changkija made the first top-10 finish of her LPGA career this weekend at the Manulife Financial Classic. The former Shark finished the tournament 12-under par and in 10th place.
Changkija had a breakout tournament, which began with her career-best first round in which she shot a 63. She is aspiring to elevate her rank in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year rankings. Her current rank is 11th.
This is the third cut that Changkija has made on the LPGA Tour. Her previous best finish was a tie for 55th place in her debut tournament.
