The Nova Trial Association Team of NSU Law students Jessica Bartell (2L), Ryan Mosher (3L), Andrew Sando (3L) and John Tolley (2L) recently competed in the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association’s Annual Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition hosted by The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. The top trial advocacy programs were invited to compete. This year’s competition included Stetson University College of Law, Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law, South Texas College of Law, Georgetown University Law Center and Harvard Law School. NSU Law defeated Harvard Law School in the semifinals. The NSU Law team then went on to compete in the finals against Loyola University Chicago School of Law where they won Second Place. Everyone at NSU Law as well as coaches Erin Veit, H.
