Real Estate Panel to Cover U.S. vs. European Investment Approaches

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship will host a panel of real estate development experts who will discuss how successful European real estate investment strategies can be utilized in the U.S. Special guest Dietmar Georg, Owner of GLL Real Estate Partners, will participate on the panel along with three board members from the Huizenga Business School’s M.S. in Real Estate Development program: Terry Stiles, President of Stiles Company; Jesse Hoshouser, CFO of Silver Companies; and Anthony Trella, President of the Meranth Company.

During the panel presentation, the experts will discuss topics related to international funds management, deal sourcing and creating a balanced portfolio. Specifically, Georg will discuss the secret to the success of his international company, a real estate funds management group based in Munich, Germany. In its ten short years of operation, GLL now exceeds €3 billion with investments in Western Europe, Central Eastern Europe and the United States.

The panel will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Carl DeSantis Building’s Knight Auditorium. RSVP by Thursday, Nov. 17 to Trish Hendon at ph389@nova.edu
