Pride Bite: No. 5 NSU Women’s Golf Team Wins NCAA South Super Regional
The No. 5 Nova Southeastern University women’s golf team took home the title at the 2016 NCAA South Super Regional, while two Sharks finished as the best on the individual leaderboard, as the tournament wrapped at the Marcus Pointe Golf Club.
The Sharks’ three-round total of 894 put them ahead of the two other automatic qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA National Championships, No. 1 Rollins (898) and No. 7 Saint Leo (902), and they led from beginning to end. After having the two lowest scores Monday, May 2, and Tuesday, May 3 they finished just a stroke off the best final round tally and clinched the victory.
