New Issue of Farquhar Forum Magazine Published, Available Online

Forum2014CoverThe 2013–2014 issue of Farquhar Forum, the award-winning magazine from the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, is now available in print and online.

Inside the Issue

The cover story spotlights communication studies major Victor Mascitelli, winner of the 2013 Undergraduate Film Festival. Mascitelli has released several short films via his YouTube channel—garnering more than 10,000 subscribers—and has received praise from faculty and industry professionals.

Forum’s latest issue also includes articles on student and faculty research exploring the brain; climate sustainability; and the disappearing manatees of Veracruz, Mexico. Plus, learn more about NSU’s Dual Admission Program and read profiles on alumni and award-winning students.

About the Forum

Published annually, the Farquhar Forum includes profiles of college members and in-depth coverage of guest speakers, performances, and research endeavors. Forum won a Gold Communicator Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing and communications publications, with the 2011 issue earning the Award of Excellence for educational institution magazines. Farquhar Forum is produced by the college’s Office of Information Services and NSU’s Office of Publications.
