NBC’s Six in the Mix Episode Promotes Freedom Fest
Kelsey DeSantis, NSU undergraduate student and president of the NSU Student Veterans Association and the H.E.L.O Foundation, was interviewed live on NBC’s Six in the Mix to promote the Freedom Fest event hosted by NSU to be held on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Kelsey was joined by Michaela Paige, a former contestant on NBC’s The Voice. Michaela will be performing at Freedom Fest and spoke about her involvement and support of the event.
Nova Southeastern University was mentioned several times throughout the segment. Photos shown on the segment included pictures of the NSU Student Veterans Association as well as a photo of President Hanbury and Ms. Travisano displaying the Freedom Fest Day proclamation with the H.E.L.O Foundation.
NSU and H.E.L.O. Foundation information was displayed throughout the segment and during Michaela Paige’s performance.
