National Cyber Security Division asks Information Systems Professor to Review Papers
Yair Levy, Ph.D., associate professor at the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS), was recently invited to serve as reviewer for the CERT®’s proposed Master of Software Assurance (MSwA) Reference Curriculum draft, sponsored by the National Cyber Security Division (NCSD) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The CERT® Program is part of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a federally funded research and development center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The proposed MSwA Reference Curriculum is designed to assist universities in their efforts to develop and establish masters programs in Software Assurance (SwA). It includes guidelines on course offerings, existing knowledge and skills, and student and faculty recruiting.
