Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale Continues its “Art Of Wine And Food” Series

The Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, Nova Southeastern University, is continuing its popular “Art of Wine and Food” tasting series on  July 28 with locally renowned chefs and Certified Sommelier Stephanie Miskew. Attendees will enjoy a social, fun and educational opportunity to learn about delicious wines and foods during the once-a-month series.

Before or after the wine events, guests have the opportunity to view the Museum’s current exhibitions located on the building’s second floor, which include Sight Specific: Explorations in Space, Vision and Sound and, opening June 5, The Art of Caring: A Look at Life through Photography.

On July 28, International Fine Wine Director Paul Chevalier from Shaw-Ross will join Miskew to present the elite wines of Chateau D’Esclans.

Miskew, author of the blog The Glamorous Gourmet, will co-host each event within the series. On July 28, Chef Remy Gautier of Argentelle in Fort Lauderdale and special guest Paul Chevalier will be featured.

Attendees will enjoy three to four wines presented with food pairings during each tasting. Miskew will discuss each wine, the region it is from, color, aroma, flavor, etc. Each chef will describe the food experience and how the accompanying dish, artfully prepared and using the freshest and highest quality ingredients, was created. During and after each presentation, guests are encouraged to discuss the wines and pairings and will have the opportunity to ask questions; then socialize before moving on to the next wine.

The event takes place at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, One East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale.  Cost is $35 per person (credit cards accepted)
