MSC Announces Faculty & Staff Accomplishments

  • Sue Kabot, Ed.D, CCC-SLP, executive director of NSU’s Autism Institute, was elected an at-large member of the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council Executive Committee. She also conducted two presentations during the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI 2012) Conference. Kabot’s topics included Implementing Structured Work Systems Across Environments and Taming the Data Monster and Getting Credit for What You Teach.
  • Nurit Sheinberg, Ed.D., director of Research and Evaluation at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, was named to the Community Grant Review Board of Autism Speaks (South Florida).
  • Kendra Khalil, a teacher at the Baudhuin Preschool, presented Creating a Wiki Space to Share Visuals for Students with ASD at the 20th Annual Statewide Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Conference held January 11-13, 2013 in St. Pete, FL.
