Orlando Student Educational Center Director Appointed
Michael Daniels has been appointed director at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Orlando Student Educational Center (SEC).
Previously an assistant director, Daniels is now charged with overseeing the entire operation of the SEC, which includes ensuring that it meets the needs of Central Florida by offering academic programs of distinction.
He is active in the community, volunteering his time as vice chairman of the Orange County Government Educational Facilities Authority Panel, co-chair of the Florida Diversity Council, Community Partnerships for Central Florida; advisor for NSU’s Orlando Sharketeers volunteer organization; and volunteer for Orange County Public Schools, A Gift For Teaching of Central Florida. He recently served as vice president of All Saints Lutheran Church Orlando Leadership Council and as a mentor to Orange County Public Schools.
Daniels received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and his Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D., in Computer Technology in Education from NSU.
Prior to joining NSU seven years ago, Daniels worked in operations management at the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom and College and International Operations.
