Miami International Piano Festival Academy Festival, June 30

NSU will host the Miami International Piano Festival Academy on Sunday, July 30 from 5-7 p.m. in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center.

Attend the culmination of three weeks of immersion in the art of the piano. This is a rare opportunity to hear six brilliant emerging pianists in an exciting, wide-ranging program of solo piano works. The performers are to be selected from the participants in the Academy at Nova Southeastern University. Pianists from ten countries are attending the Academy. The performers are winners of the Piano Concerto Competition and those awarded South Florida recitals during the 2017 season. They will be joined by 2016 concerto Competition winners Yi-Chih Lu (Taiwan) and Jacob Mason (USA). Faculty members, acclaimed Miami International Piano Festival artists, will conclude the program with solo works and duets.
