Men’s Track and Field Obtains Another Peach Belt Award
Nova Southeastern University men’s track and field team earned the Peach Belt Conference collective award for the men’s 4×400 meter relay performance at the UCF Invitational, as announced by the conference administration on Tuesday, March 29.
The Sharks men’s 4×400 meter relay team Akeim David (R-Fr., Bridgestown, Barbados), Dwayne Edwards (Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.), Tyler Johnson (Fr., Miami, Fla.), and Ismael Voltaire (R-Jr., Kissimmee, Fla.) set the second best time in the nation in Orlando, Florida the past Saturday, March 26. With an impressive time of 3:12.15 the Sharks are provisionally qualified for the NCAA National Tournament and have set a new program record in its category.
On Friday, April 1 the Sharks will continue their journey to the NCAA National Championships at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida.
