Men’s Soccer Sweeps SSC Players of the Week Honors
The NSU men’s soccer players Austin Foor and Andrea Giombetti swept Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week awards for the week ending Sept. 22.
Foor earned the offensive honors with a breakout week for NSU, scoring two goals, including the first goal against Lynn at home on Sept. 18. Foor scored his first career goal in the first half against Lynn, knocking in a free kick sent into the box. After Lynn scored their only goal of the match, Foor put an exclamation point on the victory with a goal in the 87th minute. He took three shots in the contest, with all three on target. Against Tampa, Foor assisted the Sharks in the midfield and held the Spartans scoreless on their field. Complete Release
