Men’s Golf Team Third at Rollins Invite
Ben Vertz leads Sharks with third-place finish.
After two rounds of play, the NSU men’s golf team is currently in third place out of nine teams at the Rollins Invitational. The Sharks carded a two-round score of 580 (291-289) in the opening rounds on the 7,105-yard, par 72 Forest Lake Golf Course on Oct. 25.
The tournament concluded the Sharks’ fall season, but NSU will be back on the links in early February at the Matlock Invitational hosted by Florida Southern in Lakeland, Fla. Feb. 14-15.
