From L to R: Former head coach Garrett Runion, Ben Vertz, Ricardo Celia, Ben Taylor, Oscar Lengden, Mitch Farrar

The Nova Southeastern men’s golf team added yet another accolade to their remarkable National Championship season, earning the Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team recognition. The award is presented by Farmers Insurance Group.

To qualify for GCAA All-Academic Team recognition, a team must earn a combined GPA of 3.0 for the entire academic year. Schools that post a GPA of 3.5 or higher receive President’s Special Recognition.

The Sharks were one of only 14 Division II schools to earn All-Academic Team honors. A total of 124 schools, ranging across all collegiate ranks (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA), were honored by the GCAA this year. Click here to read the complete release.
