Men’s Cross Country Wins First Sunshine State Conference Championship
The Nova Southeastern men’s cross country team won the program’s first Sunshine State Conference Championship Saturday, Oct. 20 at the UCF Cross Country Complex.
The men’s achievement marks the 20th overall SSC Championship in Nova Southeastern history. The mark is another benchmark in NSU’s recent surge in success, with 11 of the institution’s SSC titles coming after May of 2010.
“The men ran very well today, we were dominant at the first mile mark and knew we had it from there,” said head coach Bryan Hagopian. “When the pack when out it was a really tight race, but after the first mile our team pulled away. Our guys ran together the entire race and executed the game plan.” Complete Release
