Men’s Cross Country Wins South Region Championship and Qualifies for Nationals
The Nova Southeastern men’s cross country team recently won the NCAA South Region Championship and last week qualified for the NCAA National Championship.
The Sharks reached a milestone, as the first male team in NSU history to win a South Region Championship. The win also clinches the program’s second berth into the NCAA National Championship. The championship race will be held in Joplin, Mo. on Nov. 17.
“This was one of the best races this team has run all season,” said head coach Bryan Hagopian. “The men looked awesome today and we couldn’t have done it without the help of the entire staff, from assistant coaches to our athletic trainer. They all had a hand in earning this.” Click here to read the complete release.
