Men’s Basketball Senior Voted as Having Top DII Performance of the Year
Nova Southeastern University men’s basketball graduating senior Chris Page was voted as having the HERO Sports DII Men’s Performance of the Year by a wide margin, as balloting of the online poll was released this week, March 28.
Page’s 41-point, school-record breaking game on Feb. 13 against Barry stood out against 11 other options to the tune of 68 percent of the vote in garnering this recognition. He outdistanced runner-up John Moon of Oklahoma Christian by over 600 votes, 879-258, with the next top vote-getter only receiving 68. A total of 1,286 votes were tallied in the poll.
The three-year Shark star finished his career fifth on the men’s all-time scoring list with 1,461. Since the conclusion of this, his final season, he has also received All-SSC First Team and two separate All-South Region honors.
