Nova Southeastern University men’s basketball graduating senior Chris Page was voted as having the HERO Sports DII Men’s Performance of the Year by a wide margin, as balloting of the online poll was released this week, March 28.

Page’s 41-point, school-record breaking game on Feb. 13 against Barry stood out against 11 other options to the tune of 68 percent of the vote in garnering this recognition. He outdistanced runner-up John Moon of Oklahoma Christian by over 600 votes, 879-258, with the next top vote-getter only receiving 68. A total of 1,286 votes were tallied in the poll.

The three-year Shark star finished his career fifth on the men’s all-time scoring list with 1,461. Since the conclusion of this, his final season, he has also received All-SSC First Team and two separate All-South Region honors.
