Men’s Basketball Dominant over NCAA DI FIU, 77-59

The NSU men’s basketball team (2-5) recently earned its first win over a NCAA Division I team in its NCAA era , defeating the Florida International Panthers (7-4), 77-59, at the U.S. Century Bank Arena.
The Sharks took a 3-1 advantage just over a minute into the game on a Justin Jeangerard (Jr., Weaverville, Calif.) 3-pointer. From there, they would lead the entire contest. NSU would lead by as much as 12 in the first half and take their largest advantage at 19 points, 74-55, with 1:47 remaining.
Jeangerard scored a career-high 21 points on 6-for-12 shooting. He went 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and 4-for-5 from the foul line. He also collected team bests with seven rebounds and three steals. Complete Release
