Medical School Professor Wins National Appointment

Robert Hasty, D.O., FACOI

Robert Hasty, D.O., FACOI, associate professor of internal medicine and program director of the College of Osteopathic Medicine/Palmetto General Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, was recently appointed as a national faculty leader and committee chair for advanced items by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Advanced items are multimedia items such as videos and audio clips the organization uses to assess competence and ensure consistency on the examinations that are required for osteopathic physicians to become licensed in the United States.
