Medical School Professor Shares in Discussion on Aging at White House
Naushira Pandya, M.D., CMD, FACP, professor and chair of the Department of Geriatrics for NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was invited again to participate in the White House Forum on Antibiotic Stewardship, which was held July 13 in Washington, D.C. The invitation marked her third collaboration with the event.
Pandya joined leaders from health care, food and agriculture, and business organizations invited to participate in discussions surrounding the appropriate use of antibiotics.
The 2015 White House Conference on Aging represents a year-long effort to listen, learn, and share with older adults, families, caregivers, advocates, community leaders, and experts in the aging field to discuss a vision for aging in the next decade.
