Medical School Professor Nabs FOMA Presidential Achievement Award

Janet Hamstra, Ed.D., associate professor of internal medicine and director of preclinical education, at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was the recipient of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association’s (FOMA) Presidential Achievement Award in recognition and appreciation for her dedication, expertise, and support in coordinating the annual FOMA Poster Competition.
She received the award during the 111th Annual FOMA Convention, held February 20-23 at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston.
