Medical School Professor Honored With National Fellowship
Doris Newman, D.O., F.A.A.O., associate professor of osteopathic principles and practice and director of the Department of Rural and Urban Underserved Medicine for NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, successfully completed the requirements for the Fellowship of the American Academy of Osteopathy (F.A.A.O.). The honor was conferred upon her at the president’s banquet during the American Academy of Osteopathy’s Convocation held March 19-23 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The honor makes her the 81st “living” F.A.A.O.
