Medical School Professor Coauthors Sports Medicine Study

Peter Sprague, D.P.T., PT, OSC, assistant professor of sports medicine, for NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, coauthored a study entitled, “Changes in Functional Movement Screen Scores Over a Season in Collegiate Soccer and Volleyball Athletes.” The study, published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, was conducted by the NSU Sports Medicine Interdisciplinary Team, and was accomplished during the functional movement screening tests all NSU student athletes complete as part of pre-participation examinations.
