Medical School Launches Facebook Page

Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine recently launched its official Facebook page, which can be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/novaosteopathic/. This social media tool is meant to serve as an engaging and interactive forum related to all college news, programs, and events.
Although Scott Colton, APR, director of medical communications, serves as site administrator, all students, faculty members, staff, and alumni are encouraged to post appropriate and relevant college-related news, photos, and videos. Posted content could range from alumni happenings and student organization news to important programmatic changes and upcoming dates of importance.
The addition of a Facebook page now provides the college with a third significant communications modality (the others being COM Outlook and SharkBytes) to engage and inform the NSU community, the general public, and potential applicants about all the great things the College of Osteopathic Medicine does.
