Medical School Associate Dean Named Professor of the Year
Leonard A. Levy, D.P.M., M.P.H., professor of family medicine, public health, and biomedical informatics and associate dean for education, planning, and research, was named 2011-12 College of Osteopathic Medicine Professor of the Year in August. The award is conferred upon a full-time faculty member who has served the university for at least 10 years, has achieved national and/or international prominence, and has earned a distinguished reputation through significant contributions to research and scholarship and exceptional instruction. To celebrate his achievement, Levy will receive a $2,000 university honorarium as well as a one-year membership to the Faculty Club.
