Medical School Alumnus Wins Oncology Award


Jason Zell, D.O., M.P.H., a 2001 graduate of NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.


Jason Zell, D.O., M.P.H., a 2001 graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was among 12 physicians from across the country who recently received a Cancer Clinical Investigator Team Leadership Award from the National Cancer Institute. The award recognizes exceptional cancer investigators for their contributions to the advance­ment of clinical research. Zell is a medical oncologist and co-leader of the Colon Cancer Disease-Oriented Team at the University of California Irvine’s Chao Family Compre­hensive Cancer Center.
